Bruins Get 2nd Pick in NHL Draft
Finally, some good news and a little luck for the Bruins. Last night, the Bruins secured the 2nd pick in the upcoming NHL draft. (Thank you Phil Kessel and Toronto for sucking). There are 2 "can't miss" prospects in the draft this year, Taylor Hall and Tyler Seguin, which means the Bruins will grab whichever one Edmonton (1st pick) leaves behind. Most likely, the Bruins will get Taylor Hall as Edmonton is in desperate need of a center like Seguin. Hall is a goal-scoring winger, which is a bigger need for the Bruins, as many of our wingers can't put the puck in the net. Blake Wheeler and Michael Ryder, I'm looking at you.
In other good news for the Bruins (yes there's more, believe it or not), GM Peter Chiarelli said that there is a slight chance that Marc Savard could play in Round 2 if the B's make it past the Sabres. It's unlikely that Savard's return would make any difference, since the Bruins will probably get crushed by whoever they play in Round 2, but this is an indication that Savard is at least feeling a little better.

I wish we could get taylor hall...but i think tyler seguin is a nice consolation prize. I really expect hall to get swooped off the board immediately by edmonton. Should be some battles between these two in the NHL for years to come. Can't wait to see one of them in black-and-gold.
